Welcome to Mrs. Jenkins' Kindergarten Class

 I’m so excited for a fantastic year of learning and growth. The success of my students academically is my top priority.  I want them to understand how important they are as an individual and empower them to believe they can reach for the stars. It is my goal to create a family of learners who are supported and encouraged by each other, to help each student to thrive. In addition, I believe collaborating with families is essential to a child’s success at school. I encourage you to extend learning at school into your home and to reach out to me for anything you may need to help this happen.

ABOUT ME 

     I am a native of Rockport, Tx.  I received my Bachelor’s Degree with honors at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. I have taught 1st grade for six years. Spending time with my family is my favorite thing to do. I am a mom of a four year old who I absolutely adore. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy working outdoors with my dad building all sorts of things. I am fortunate to live in an area in which I get to observe all sorts of wildlife.
