Ms. Wilson
Jill Wilson serves as an Assistant Principal at Live Oak Learning Center. She received her Masters in Administration from Lamar University with a Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M - Corpus Christi. Ms. Wilson began her teaching career in her hometown of Rockport as a 2nd Grade Teacher. She has many years of experience teaching first and second grade and moving into Reading Intervention. Ms. Wilson has a passion for reading and continued her professional growth in the area of dyslexia, becoming a Dyslexia Interventionist K - 5. From there, Ms. Wilson moved into a position working with all Special Programs as a Special Programs Facilitator. for the district. She is currently beginning her 3rd year as a campus administrator and her 20th year in RFISD. She believes professional growth is essential for continuous learning and improvement in education to keep up with the best practices for the students we serve. Ms. Wilson enjoys the outdoors, working out, fishing and hunting as well as attending Houston Astro's games. She has two daughters who are her absolute pride and joy, Michaela and Keely.
