Welcome to Ms. Domasco's Class!

Welcome to Live Oak Learning Center, my name is Tami Domasco and I am the dyslexia interventionist and reading intervention teacher. I have been a teacher for 15 years and hold a certificate of special education with a Master’s degree in Elementary Education.  I have been teaching dyslexia for 11 years and entering my twelfth year of teaching dyslexia using a multisensory approach.  The curriculum we currently use with students who have qualified to receive “individualized instruction”  is Reading By Design. Reading by design is reading intervention that is a systematic and explicit multisensory approach to learning aligned with research-based practices for developing literacy. I love working with children in their early stages of literacy and learning how to have a love for reading.
