This Will Be a Great Year!!

Hi! My name is Katherine Buckley, and I am excited to be part of the Live Oak Learning Center family as an elementary special education teacher.

I have been teaching for 23 years and truly love working with students and helping them grow, learn, and reach their goals. I feel very fortunate to have a career that allows me to make a difference in the lives of children each day.

Outside of school, I have been married for 20 years and am the proud mom of two wonderful girls, ages 14 and 9. Our family stays very busy and loves being involved in sports and other activities. We also enjoy showing rabbits through 4-H, which has become a special family tradition.

When I’m not at school or cheering on my girls, I love spending time outdoors. Fishing and camping are two of my favorite ways to relax and make memories with my family.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year at Live Oak Learning Center and getting to know my students and their families!
